Remove the cake from the freezer several hours before serving time or the night before.
Do not remove the wrapping from around the frozen cake. Moisture will condense on the wrapping and not on cake if the wrapping left in place.
Elevate the wrapped cake on a cooling rack so that the air can circulate under it. Leave the cake at room temperature.
After the cake is completely thawed, carefully remove the wrappings and serve!
